1985 MERCURY COUGAR LS  Silver blue with blue custom cloth interior.  302 V8 EFI, automatic.  PS, PB, A/C, tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM cassette, power windows, power door locks, power driver’s seat, power trunk, power gas door release, dual remote control mirrors, digital speedometer…every available option.  New tires all around.  No rust.  12,000 original miles.  Garage kept.  Never driven in winter.  Includes original owner's manual and documentation. 

This car was purchased new by the wife of the president of the local water company.  She drove it to the local country club to play golf and to the beauty shop.  Any time she traveled with her husband, they took his vehicle.

She passed away last February.  At that time I acquired the car.  I have the original sale data and other documentation.  The original sticker, from '85, was over $10,500.

It has been garage kept the entire time she had it and is currently in my garage.  They spent their winters in Florida, so it has never been driven in winter weather.  The owner put new tires on it last November.  It has only been driven a few hundred miles since that time.  I, put in a can of fuel system cleaner and drove it on a short, 300 mile trip.  It had been in storage for several months, and, since the original owner never drove it very far, it needed a good run to clean it out.  It runs great and has lots of power.

 I have been involved with cars, especially muscle cars and classics since the 60s.  IMO - You won't find a Cougar of this vintage in this condition anywhere.
